THANKS to everyone for the kind words, candles and tributes. sorry i haven't lit many candles but I
haven't been on the site very often since Christmas, and still finding things difficult just now.

William ( Willie ) Nixon

Always lived in Glasgow
Willie and I ( Angela ) were married for 27 years and had two sons, Fraser and Craig. We lived in
Dennistoun, then moved to Abronhill, Cumbernauld in 1989. He originally lived in Easterhouse with
his mum Annie ( Nan ), brothers John and Robert, as his father had died. He worked as an
Electrician at Glasgow University left few years before he died and worked with different agencies.
He really enjoyed the variety of work he did and places he went to with the agency work.
Willie was a good husband and father, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a quiet man
but had a very dry sense of humour which is one of the things I really loved about him. He was
always winding people up and liked watching their reactions He was kind and was always willing to
help anyone at anytime. He enjoyed the holidays we had in USA and he loved spending time with my
aunt, cousins and their families over there.
Willie had a massive heart attack on 7th March 2003 and sadly died. Losing him so suddenly was a
great shock for everyone and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends

A Bend In The Road
♥ღ♥ When we feel we have nothing left to give
and we are sure that the song has ended,
When our day seems over and the shadows fall
and the darkness of night has descended,
Where can we go to find the strength
to valiantly keep on trying?
Where can we find the hand that will dry
the tears that the heart is crying?
There's but one place to go and that is to God,
and dropping all pretense and pride,
We can pour out our problems without restraint
and gain strength with Him at our side.
And together we stand at life's crossroads
and view what we think is the end.
But God has a much bigger vision,
and He tells us it's only a bend,
For the road goes on and is smoother,
